Very rarely do I get the chance to make it to exhibitions, but when I do..it has to be for something that I find to be of extreme interest and this exhibition...is something I would venture out for.

Satellite imagery of earth reveals the
swirling arms of a massive hurricane, triangular shadows cast by the
Great Pyramids, and the grid-like pattern of Kansas farmland in this
exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution. Dramatic large-scale
images are complimented by a digital video globe display and an OnCell
audio tour. Earth from Space was organized by the Smithsonian
Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, in collaboration with the
Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. The exhibition has been made
possible by Global Imagination. Additional support has been provided
by the U.S. Geological Survey and the Smithsonian Women's Committee.
