Staring
Like contortion
Distorts
A perfect view
Seeing
Too far reality
So Lingering
And misplaced.
To draw inward
Is to lean forward
With careful balance
Not to fall
While teetering
Plays its mindgames
And seduces
With a smile.
Am I contorted
Or am I staring
Sometimes hard
To tell the truth
To be simple
Is perplexing
When the simple
Likes to lapse.
